No Strings Attached!

Today I finally had a chance to try Sonicare Airfloss! It was everything I thought it would be and more. When I came across this little gem in Costco, I couldn't look away. My husband and I were there to purchase our new Sonicare toothbrushes, and on display in front of me was this exciting new flossing invention. After walking away and coming back a few times, I quickly put the Airfloss into my cart and headed to the checkout. Luckily the line wasn't long enough to make me change my mind about my $119.00 purchase! As soon as I got home I wanted to obviously try it, but the directions stated to allow for a full 24 hour charge. Impatient and excited, I thought 2 hours should do it...so after two episodes of Real Housewives of New Jersey I headed for the bathroom. I filled the reservoir with mouthwash (you can also use water) and got ready to floss. At first nothing came out of the flosser and I was a bit disappointed, but a couple pumps later the sensation of air and spritzed mouthwash was hitting my teeth. In a few seconds the whole top row of my teeth were complete. I moved to the bottom teeth next. It takes a little finesse to keep from needing a full shower after flossing, but keeping your lips tight basically resolves the problem! After opening my mouth to check out the results...I was floored. I could physically see the plaque that had been removed from my teeth (disgusting I know, but so cool). After a few more rounds of Airflossing, I decided it was worth every penny. I'm sure your dentist will tell you this isn't a replacement for flossing, but I think it is amazingly close!
